Online degree course in Italian language and culture for foreigners
The degree course in Italian language and culture for foreigners is a three-year course delivered online by the ICoN Consortium on behalf of member Italian universities. It has been active since 2001 and the awarded title is an Italian degree in all respects.
Enrollment opens every year in July (for the September semester) and in February (for the March semester)
How it works
Since 2023 Istituto cultura italiana (NCLE) is an affiliated examination site for the degree in Italian language and culture offered by ICoN. Georgian students can autonomously register and follow a degree course offered by ICoN, and then they will undertake the exam 2 times per year at our center.

To whom is addressed
The course is addressed to foreign and Italian citizens residing abroad who are interested in deepening their knowledge of the Italian language and culture and is ideal for those who need to study at their own pace of life and work.
How to study
The study takes place entirely online, on the ICoN platform, independently, according to the student's schedule. Those who want can have the assistance of a tutor and get in touch with course colleagues from all over the world.
What is studied
The more than 360 ICoN teaching modules available deal with subjects relating to the Italian language and culture: Antiquity, Philosophy, Geography, Literature, Language, Music, Theater and Cinema, History of Art, History and social sciences.
After graduation
The degree course creates professionals capable of applying an excellent knowledge of the Italian language and culture to a wide range of jobs: teaching Italian abroad, tourism, cultural publishing.
